Cambridge Global Challenges facilitates the understanding of challenges faced by the poorest half of the world’s population – namely by offering training in methodologies of co-creation that are required for the adequete consideration of these challenges in academic research projects that propose to address them.

Facilitated and advised by Cambridge Global Challenges and delivered by the Learning for Purpose – the Gates Cambridge professional development programme – the skillathon introduced design methodologies for co-created and interative work and research.

Masterclass in Design Methods for Global Challenges [19th March 2018, 10.30-6pm, Maxwell Centre]

This Masterclass will explore the similarities and differences between particular disciplinary approaches to co-creation with end-users – systems design, public health-oriented co-creation methodologies, product development and participatory development research – and their application to scientific research that intends to benefit communities in developing countries.
