Director of Development, University Strategic Initiatives  

Gordon leads an entrepreneurial team within the University of Cambridge’s Development & Alumni Relations Office, managing partnerships to advance the university’s strategic priorities. Prior to joining Cambridge, Gordon held various positions at the United Nations (UNICEF, UNDP). He served previously as the Director, Global Partnerships & Social Finance at the NGO Plan International, as Executive Director of the American Chamber of Commerce in Sri Lanka, and as a Managing Director at the London Stock Exchange Group. He acts as an advisor to several leading charities, including Blueprint for All (Stephen Lawrence Trust) and the mental health charity LiveWell Foundation. 

Gordon holds master’s degrees in international relations from the University of Cambridge, the University of London (SOAS) and the London School of Economics, and a B.A. from the University of Michigan. A dual UK/US national, he resides in London.
