Professor Shaz Ansari is a Professor of Strategy and Innovation and the Director of the MPhil in Innovation, Strategy and Organization Programme at the Judge Business School and a Professorial Fellow of St Edmund’s College. He is also a member of the Erasmus Research Institute of Management (ERIM) at Erasmus University in Rotterdam and a Visiting Professor of Strategy and Innovation in International Business School Suzhou at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, China.

Shaz's research interests are on institutional processes and diffusion of practices; social and environmental issues, technological and management innovations; value creation and new market development; offshoring and outsourcing, reputation management, and bottom-of-the-pyramid strategies. He has also contributed to the executive education programs in many organisations including McKinsey, Airbus. Shell, British Telecom, China Development Bank, Nokia, UNICEF, Essex County Council among several others.

His expertise on bottom-of-the-pyramid markets, on social and environmental issues including climate change, on technological and management innovations and on disruptive innovation can impact the lives of the world’s poorest 3 billion people
