Cambridge Global Challenges

The School Research Facilitators are organizing an information event around the ESRC Research Centres Competition 2018. This call is relevant to potential principal investigators in the social sciences who are experienced, internationally recognized and have a proven ability to deliver a large-scale research project successfully. The Centres proposals are expected to take forward an ambitious research agenda and make significant economic or societal impact.

At the information event Dr Anna Cieslik will share updates on the call, obtained at an ESRC Centres event in London. Professor Anna Vignoles and Professor Simon Deakin will be there to answer questions about their experience with ESRC funded projects. The purpose of the event is to exchange information and identify potential avenues for collaboration.

If you are interested in attending, please sign up here.

If you are unable to make it to the meeting, but would like some support with your application for this call, do not hesitate to contact Anna (amc238@cam.ac.uk). She will be happy to assist with discussing research ideas, providing feedback on a proposal, organizing an internal peer-review and coordinating interdisciplinary link.
