Dr John Suberu is a Research Associate at the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology.

His research interests are on techniques for the extraction of biopharmaceuticals – namely Artemisia, used against malaria – and the study of their metabolic profiles.

John’s commitment to the sustainable deployment of biopharmeceuticals through his green chemistry studies can impact the lives of the world’s poorest 3 billion people
