International Development Research @ Cambridge

The Community Biotechnology Initiative at the MIT Media Lab is organizing a Global Summit this September.

The event aims to provide a space for the global community of bio-hackers and members of independent and community laboratories to convene, plan, build fellowship, and continue the evolution of the bio-hackers movement. The programming topics will include: diversity and inclusion, sharing and learning, bio security, enabling technologies, bio art and design, and more.

The application deadline is 15th August and space is limited, so active practitioners in the community will be prioritized, but an emphasis given to diversity across geographic, cultural, ethnic, gender, and creative backgrounds.

Please find more information here.

Date:
Friday, 22 September, 2017 - 09:00 to Monday, 25 September, 2017 - 18:00
Event location:
