NERC is hosting a Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF) community engagement workshop about the GCRF and the second collective fund call (Interdisciplinary Research Hubs to Address Intractable Development Challenges). Registration for elevator talk: 7th August 2017; General registration: 14th August 2017.

The aims of the workshop are to:

  • Inform attendees about the Global Challenges Research Fund and the 2nd collective fund call Interdisciplinary Research Hubs to Address Intractable Development Challenges.
  • Share experience and best practice in Offical Development Assistance research, forming equitable partnerships, developing interdisciplinary research programmes and delivering large scale hub investments.
  • Discuss and identify opportunities for the UK environmental science community to engage in the 2nd GCRF collective fund call and facilitate links between, academics, international development practitioners, beneficiaries and users across a range of disciplines.

Places at the workshop are limited and individuals wishing to attend the workshop are asked to complete one of the following online registration forms:

Submission of the online registration form will be taken as indicating availability on both days of the workshop. Please note you should only complete one of the registration forms.

The organisers reserve the right to select participants, based on ensuring a balance across institutions and disciplines should places become limited.
