Networking event with industry for University of Cambridge PhD students and Postdocs interested in collaborating with the food industry.

A networking event where you’ll have the opportunity to pitch their research, network with industry contacts, and hear about funding you can apply for to carry out internships or collaborative research with industry.

Participants will have the opportunity to meet and hear from agri-tech and food industry representatives, and discuss possibilities for:

  • research collaborations
  • internships
  • future careers.

 

Event Highlights

There is an opportunity for  flash presentations by Cambridge early career researchers at 3.30 pm; a prize will be given or the best short pitch.

Attendance cost

The event is free to attend thanks to sponsorship by the Biotechnology and Biosciences Research Council (BBSRC) and the Newton Fund; however, there is a penalty of £50 for not giving at least 3 days' prior notice, if you can no longer attend, so your place can be offered to someone else.
