International Development Research @ Cambridge

This event provides an opportunity to discuss your ideas for OpenPlant Fund proposals for innovative and interdisciplinary projects in plant synthetic biology or prototyping projects for the Biomaker Challenge.

This event provides an introduction to the opportunities and a chance to present your initial proposals and to meet potential collaborators over drinks and pizza. We will also have a light-hearted look at training, including different models and effective communication of technical details.

Come along to learn some tips and tricks in this fun and informative training session, and to network and meet potential collaborators.

A group will go for dinner in The Eagle after the event, all welcome.

Please read more about the Open Plant Fund here (deadline: 24th November 2017).

Date:
Thursday, 9 November, 2017 - 16:00 to 18:00
