The Global Challenges Forum (GCF)’s bid to become a University Strategic Research Initiative (SRI) in October 2017 has been successful.

We would like to thank all the support, participation and enthusiasm provided by GCF's members and collaborators so far.

We also really look forward to keep enhancing the contribution of University of Cambridge research towards addressing global challenges and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030. 

We welcome you to join the Global Challenges Forum here and/or to shape GCF thematic working groups, some of which are likely to focus on coordinating funding proposals, by register your research project ideas here.

The Global Challenges Initiative is a Strategic Research Initiative of the University of Cambridge that aims to enhance the contribution of its research towards addressing global challenges and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030.
